The first new style is the Travel Wallet. This one holds you passport and travel related cards and paperwork in style. It comes with a small pen so you always have one on hand when you have to fill out those annoying immigration forms. Simply smart.

The Micro Sleeve is the second new addition. Don’t be fooled by its small size, because this baby carries more than you think. Easy access slots for your daily used cards, and the ones needed but not daily can be put away in the main compartment. The pull tab allows you to access these easily as well.

My personal favourite, the Slim Sleeve is now also available in cocoa (Micro Sleeve and Travel Wallet are both pictured in Cocoa above). A great quality leather which will age perfectly. Cant wait to see this one worn in. The Hide & Seek and the Very Small are also available in this awesome colour.

And finally the Bellroy squad have added a sweet new colour to the range: Russet. A nice deep red colourway. Slim Sleeve, Very Small and Take Out are now available in this colour too.

There are some companies that are so amazing that you can’t help but wonder how they do it. Warby Parker is one of these for sure.

Warby Parker is an online eyewear store, selling awesome designs that most of the big brands would be jealous of. But instead of $300 + for a frame, all frames cost $95,- including prescription lenses up to + or – 4.00. Just $95,-!! Amazing, right?

Sorry for not posting as frequent as I should have lately. But I have a good excuse. It’s called UNDSCVRD, which launched last week.

UNDSCVRD is a webshop with bags and accessories for men only. It is a selection of brands that focus entirely on creating bags and accessories, resulting in highly specialized products. All together they form a great collection of brands that you otherwise might not have found anywhere.

That is exactly the reason why I started UNDSCVRD. Over the years I found a lot of great brands, online and offline. But one thing I never found was one place where I could go to find these brands, be inspired and buy what I wanted. So, after looking for quite some time I decided to do it myself.

We have launched with 6 great brands. Property Of… from Singapore, QWSTION from Switzerland and the Dutch Travelteq. Besides this you find the collections of Artists Not Armies, Cote Et Ciel, and the products by Dutch designer frrry. Other brands will soon be added to the collection to create the most complete offering of great brands. Check out a small selection below.

Before anybody had heard about The Sartorialist or Style.com photographer Bill Cunningham was already documenting fashion trends and high society charity soirées in New York for the Times Style section in his columns “On the Street” and “Evening Hours.” This documentary tells his story, and shows us the impact this seemingly humble man has had. Big names, like Anna Wintour, appear in the film out of their love for Bill, and his shots of downtown eccentrics and everyone in between. Cunningham’s enormous body of work has captured trends many trends over time. The documentary Bill Cunningham New York looks like a funny and often poignant portrait of a dedicated artist. Just have  a look at the trailer, and you can see what I mean.

The movie opens on March 16th in New York, and hopefully in the rest of the world shortly after.

As you know I am quite the bags & accessories freak. And I’m always on the look out for cool new brands. And I found one. Or better, they found me. Meet Landmarks & Lions. The brand was founded by creative mind Canyon Crosby. The brand is based on his intense longing to create, develop, and communicate my philosophy of the well-lived life. The products are the result of his creative drive and entrepreneurial spirit combined with personal travel experiences.

And the result is very nice if you ask me. Simple, functional, very well constructed items made out of the finest materials. And added to that, they also happen to look good. All you need, right? The range consists of bags and sleeves for your laptop/ iPad/ iPhone/ Kindle/ Nook. And I have heard a nice collection of leather totes is on the way. Good stuff!

Currently Canyon still makes all the products himself, but I suspect that soon he will need to scale up to meet demand.

Custom bicycles have  become quite the thing in the past year or  so, based on the hipster driven Fixie culture. You’re not a real hipster without one. And some of these bikes are real pieces of work. Bike By Me is a concept that taps into this custom bike building trend. Nothing new, but their website is impressive. You can create your custom bike entirely online and have it delivered at your doorstep. Awesome execution. Have a look for yourself here.

Wallets: the smaller the better if you ask me. And the Recycled Wallet by Holstee seems to be just that. Besides it practicality, this wallet is made out of plastic bags and newspapers collected on the streets of Delhi. To complete the ‘greenness’ of this product the guys at Holstee have also partnered up with a local Indian NGO that helps impoverished people.
