Nuji is an awesome social tagging service. It kinda serves like an online wishlist. See something cool on a website you’d like to have, or just don’t want to forget about: Tag it with Nuji. It will aggregate all your tags and store them for you. Very nice. And the cool thing is that Nuji itself serves as a place to find cool stuff. You just follow people whose taste you like and boom. Tons of cool products. This video explains it all.

Happy Place is one of those websites you surft to a 4 pm when you need a little laugh. Its is a brilliant collection random funny and weird stuff. I especially likes the brilliantly-sarcastic-responses-to-completely-well-meaning-signs series. But the worlds-most-absurd-warning-signs collection is pretty awesome too. Put it in your RSS and treat yourself to a little laugh.

Sorry for not posting as frequent as I should have lately. But I have a good excuse. It’s called UNDSCVRD, which launched last week.

UNDSCVRD is a webshop with bags and accessories for men only. It is a selection of brands that focus entirely on creating bags and accessories, resulting in highly specialized products. All together they form a great collection of brands that you otherwise might not have found anywhere.

That is exactly the reason why I started UNDSCVRD. Over the years I found a lot of great brands, online and offline. But one thing I never found was one place where I could go to find these brands, be inspired and buy what I wanted. So, after looking for quite some time I decided to do it myself.

We have launched with 6 great brands. Property Of… from Singapore, QWSTION from Switzerland and the Dutch Travelteq. Besides this you find the collections of Artists Not Armies, Cote Et Ciel, and the products by Dutch designer frrry. Other brands will soon be added to the collection to create the most complete offering of great brands. Check out a small selection below.

This one is an instant favorite of mine. The Selby is a blog that offers us a glimpse into the workspaces of creative minds from around the world. It is amazing to have a look in the personal space of these people and be inspired by it. Just have a look at the image above from Karl Lagerfeld’s house…

The site was founded by Todd Selby in 2008. A pretty versatile creative himself,  he started shooting and posting pictures of his friends houses and workspaces. The site became a big success. Soon requests from around the world started pouring from people who wanted to have their workspace posted.

This led to the publishing of the first book called The Selby Is In Your Place.

There is just too much on the site, so check it out for yourselves. You won’t be disappointed!

It only exists for 10 years, but its impact has been huge: Wikipedia. For their tenth anniversary they made this nice film together with Jess 3 (whom you might remember from this movie). The movie explains how Wikipedia started, how it works, who works on it etc. Very interesting! Have a look for yourself!

Last year I introduced you to the Ghostly iPhone app, which picked music for you based on your mood. Now they have taken this service online with Ghostly Discovery. Just set your mood by using the sliders and Ghostly picks music suiting that mood from their Ghostly Records database. A very nice way to discover new music. Wish it would go further than just their database though. iTunes or Spotify integration anyone?

Adobe has opened a museum. A digital one that is. In this museum groundbreaking digital work is preserved and showcased here. Experts comment the work, and showcase how digital media shapes and influences modern society.

Open 365 days a year, 24 hours a day this is the future of musea. The exhibitions will be changed regularly. To inspire fresh conversation on the constantly evolving digital landscape, exhibits are overseen by guest curators, each of whom is a recognized leader in the field of art, technology, or business. Custom bicycles have  become quite the thing in the past year or  so, based on the hipster driven Fixie culture. You’re not a real hipster without one. And some of these bikes are real pieces of work. Bike By Me is a concept that taps into this custom bike building trend. Nothing new, but their website is impressive. You can create your custom bike entirely online and have it delivered at your doorstep. Awesome execution. Have a look for yourself here.
