I recently spent about 2 months designing an identity and packaging for a new sports product, only to be told at the last minute the client had been to see a psychic and the psychic didn’t think the logo would bring the client good luck, i was then handed a piece of paper which had a pencil drawing on of a new logo (drawn by the psychic) and had to start everything from scratch.
I ‘predict’ a massive invoice.

It has probably been out there for quite some time, but I’ve just discovered PostSecret today and loved the concept. PostSecret is an ongoing community art project where people mail in their secrets anonymously on one side of a postcard. This results in a great collection of crazy, funny and sometimes touching ‘confessions’ rolling in. It’s like a modern church, but without the theater and all the other nonsense. Go and see for yourself!
My New York connection Barrie tipped me off on the blog Luxirare. This blog, edited by Ji, focuses on fashion and the fine arts of cooking. This girl is so incredibly creative, which she translates into great creations in both fashion and in the kitchen. Even if you arent interested in cooking or fashion, the way she pictures her way of cooking is worthwile, trust me. If you need some inspiration, be sure to check Luxirare regularly!!
