Gorillaz – Plastic Beach

This afternoon I got my hands on the new Gorillaz album called Plastic Beach and it has been on play since.
Like every previous album is a collection of different styles mashed up in a great way by Damon Albarn. Combining big names like Snoop Dogg, De La Soul, Mos Def and Lou Reed with orchestra’s and brass ensembles the result is fresh album, which will definitely be on play for a while.

The first video for the spacy sounding track Stylo  is also a nice piece of work, starring Bruce Willis and our ever evolving virtual friends. Check it out below:

The Expendables

This is probably one of the ultimate testosteron driven movies ever! This movie, starring and directed by Sylvester Stallone promises to be an old school, bad ass, over the top action movie. Just check out the cast. Besides Stallone there are more ancient action heroes we have almost forgotten about: Mickey Rourke, Dolph Lundgren, Jason Statham, Eric Roberts, Jet Li, Bruce Willis and Arnold Swarzenegger. Pretty impressive.
Probably not a movie you should check for the storyline, but expect it to be an action- and oneliner-packed rollercoaster ride.

It looks like Lionsgate films doesn’t want free publicity for its movie, so they had the trailer removed from YouTube… Instead, check out the somewhat official website here.
