First of all, sorry for not posting as regularly. This is due to two things: A new job and the world cup. Especially that last one has taken away a lot of time. This reminded me of a campaign Nike ran about a year ago, pictured above. Did they already know Paul The Octopus back then? Anyway, after we secure this first star on the shirt things will be back to normal.

Who is faster: Christiano Ronaldo or a Bugatti Veyron? For the new Mercurial Vapor football boot, Nike staged a showdown between probably the most agile football player around wearing the lightest boot in the world, and the worlds fastest car.
This campaign was used during the 2008 European Championships by Nike. The concept comes from 72 and Sunny, and this ad was shot by Guy Ritchie. For each competing Nike sponsored country a local version was shot featuring the national Teams. The complete campaign featured a great online part, where you could learn to take your game to the next level.
