Happy Place is one of those websites you surft to a 4 pm when you need a little laugh. Its is a brilliant collection random funny and weird stuff. I especially likes the brilliantly-sarcastic-responses-to-completely-well-meaning-signs series. But the worlds-most-absurd-warning-signs collection is pretty awesome too. Put it in your RSS and treat yourself to a little laugh.

It has probably been out there for quite some time, but I’ve just discovered PostSecret today and loved the concept. PostSecret is an ongoing community art project where people mail in their secrets anonymously on one side of a postcard. This results in a great collection of crazy, funny and sometimes touching ‘confessions’ rolling in. It’s like a modern church, but without the theater and all the other nonsense. Go and see for yourself!

Here’s another movie I’m looking forward to: Zombieland. There’s nothing like a good, funny zombie slasher movie every once in a while. This movie, directed by Ruben Fleisher definitely looks the part starring Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson and Emma Stone.
Set for release in October 2009.
