German photographer Robert Piontek has found a really cool technique of shooting and editing. His brilliant series ‘Tiny Planet’ is the result of taking pictures of one place from different angles and pasting them together with special software. And I love it!

Every man knows the urge to take appliances apart. The only things always is putting them back together. Photographer Todd McLellan decided to take this urge to the next level. He took apart complex appliances like clocks and camera’s, lined up all the parts and shot them. This has resulted in some amazing compositions. He also shot all these items in a quite literal take on the ‘Exploded View’ perspective. Check out the gallery.
I wonder how many screws Todd had left when he had put everything back together…

Check out this amazing project by Irina Werning. She has taken people back to pictures taken of them a long time ago, and have them pose in exactly the same way. Great idea, and great results. Amazing to see how some people change (or not). Have a look at the gallery. These shots are awesome.
This one is an instant favorite of mine. The Selby is a blog that offers us a glimpse into the workspaces of creative minds from around the world. It is amazing to have a look in the personal space of these people and be inspired by it. Just have a look at the image above from Karl Lagerfeld’s house…
The site was founded by Todd Selby in 2008. A pretty versatile creative himself, he started shooting and posting pictures of his friends houses and workspaces. The site became a big success. Soon requests from around the world started pouring from people who wanted to have their workspace posted.
This led to the publishing of the first book called The Selby Is In Your Place.
There is just too much on the site, so check it out for yourselves. You won’t be disappointed!
As you might have read here before I love abandoned buildings. They raise so many questions and really get your mind going. Who built it? Why? What went on there? That’s why I just love these shots of WW2 bunkers by Amsterdam based Brit Jonathan Andrew. The excellent lighting gives these weird shaped concrete blobs something very sinister, dark. Analog photography is making its comeback as a niche product, thats for sure. Lomo camera’s are everywhere and with Polaroid’s comeback this trend will surely continue. And with fun camera’s like the Lomography Spinner 360 coming out this trend is strengthened.

As You know, I have a weak spot for Polaroid pictures. Thats why I like No Balls, No Glory; A Polaroid Story that much. Ouni decided one day that she wanted to go out and shoot great artists on her Polaroid cam. And has she succeeded. Among the faces on her blog are Pharrell Williams, Snoop Dogg and Mos Def. The cool thing is that every Polaroid has a story, which she shares with us. A bit heavy on text, but this gives the pictures so much more meaning. This is what sets her blog apart from all the other snapshot blogs. Love it. Go check it out here.
The other day I stumbled upon photographer Jason Travis‘ project called Persona. Travis asked random people to reveal the contents of their bags. Seeing the bag-content next to its carrier creates a very interesting profile of these people. Especially when you see that some people turn out to be completely different than you’d think.
