Another movie on how Facebook can change your life. Story: In late 2007, filmmakers Ariel Schulman and Henry Joost sensed a story unfolding as they began to film the life of Ariel’s brother, Nev. Nev met a girl, Megan, online and they seemed to have something going. They had no idea that their project would lead to the most unsettling months of their lives.
I get a huge Blair Witch Project vibe here. Not sure what to think about it. Seems somewhat interesting. What do you think?
Slightly refreshed version of the movie-manifest for social media I posted earlier. Whats new: New facts, updated facts, a bit on recruiters and social media and a picture of Don Draper. Enjoy!
As you all know I am convinced of the social media revolution, and that it will be an important influence in our near future. Currently a lot of discussion is rising on the topic whether or not social media is a fad, a hype, a bubble waiting to burst. Just check the movie below, and let me know what you think.
Here a very interesting piece of advertising through social networks for Ikea, created by Forsman & Bodenfors from Sweden. The movie below explains it all:
I posted about this great documentary back in may. For those of you who have missed this post, RiP: A Remix Manifesto is a documentary film about what our current culture of filesharing etc. is doing to copyright etc. Very interesting stuff. But what I wanted to let you guys know, is that it will be on TV tonight, for dutchies only… It will be on Nederland 3 at 20.30h in Het Uur van de Wolf.
A friend of mine tipped me about his upcoming documentary. RiP: A Remix Manifesto is a documentary film about copyright and remix culture. Check out the trailer above.
It captures the gap between companies defending the status quo and what is going on in the market perfectly.
All chapters are available here, and the full documentary is expected to be available (for free I hope!) somewhere in june…
As you can see, there are some changes going on here. I have decided to drop the focus on Nike, and start posting on everything that interests me. Expect to see a lot more on Marketing, web 2.0, Advertising, Fashion, Design and Architecture soon.
