Floating Table

Look at this awesome table by Brooklyn design duo RockPaperRobot. It consists of 64 wooden cubes with magnets inside that push each other away. The only thing keeping it together are small steel wires. And you can think outside the box too. Together with the designers you can create (almost) different shapes, surface colors and functional designs. It must have been a hell of a job to get this working. Really great work!

Puma Chalk Ping Pong Table

Ping pong is cool. We already knew that. What makes it even cooler is this table by Puma. The chalkboard surface allows players to keep track of the score, claim the next game or provoke opponents with a little written propaganda. Furthermore, the  compartment underneath safely stores beverages and party favors. Drinking and playing has never been this easy.  I know certain ad-agencies where the ping-pong table occasionally also serves as desk and bar, this will come in very handy. Besides this, this mat black finish looks amazing.

And it will be available through The Conran Shop for ‘only’ $3.900,-. Awesome.

Table&Tennis

I love a good game of tabletennis and I only love practical solutions if they look good. And this one does. I need a new desk!

Great work by Ryan Vanderbilt
